Michael’s abilities have allowed him to interact and build great relationships with some of the leading members of the hair and beauty industry. It has also allowed him the opportunity to travel throughout the world to provide beauty enhancement techniques to people of many cultures and backgrounds.


His work has appeared on the cover of South Korea’s top foreigners’ magazine “NEH,” Bronner Brothers International Hair Show platforms, Hair Etc. Hair Convention of South Carolina, Millie Lewis Models and Talent Agency, North Charleston, South Carolina, and countless print and commercial work throughout the USA and Southeast Asia. But it was his humbling experience working with members of his community that grounded him and gave him the diligence needed to take his place in the hair beauty industry.

EDUCATION

Michael A. Pringle, II received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. He simultaneously earned his Associate Degree in Business and Cosmetology at Trident Technical College which is also located in Charleston, South Carolina.


Several years after obtaining his certification from TTC, Michael's time at Trident Technical College has come full circle as he is now one of the school's premiere Certified Cosmetology Instructors. Michael's goal as a cosmetology instructor is to educate his students in a way that will allow them to obtain the hands-on experience and classroom skills that go beyond basic cosmetology practices and knowledge.

Michael is also a highly sought after Platform Stylist. In the beauty industry, the platform stylist, often called platform artist, is a rockstar among hairdressers. Part educator, communicator, salesperson and entertainer, the platform artist performs on stage mostly at industry trade shows, to promote styling technique, tools, or products.


Outside of the cosmetology realm, Michael is also a Certified English instructor under the International TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languagues). He has taught English in South Korea for several years as well as continued his work in cosmetology overseas.


Upon returning to the U.S. from South Korea and due to his involvement in international relations, Michael has been named a "Local Coordinator" by the U. S. Department of State "Center for Cultural Interchange" international student exchange program.
